What are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal Fillers are the safest, most effective aging prevention solution on the market today. They are designed to add volume and create an instantly lifted, firmer and contoured appearance.
Most men and women seek dermal lip fillers to restore fullness and hydration. We can even treat the backs of the hands where the skin may be losing firmness. Results can last anywhere from six to twenty-four months and treatments are completely safe, requiring minimal downtime with very few side effects.
Dermal Lip Fillers for enhancement
Filler injections can be highly effective when it comes to softening and restoring youthful contours to the mouth area and lips. They hydrate and fill out lips that are impacted by the loss of collagen, resulting in an attractive plump appearance.
Our lip filler injections can be used to enhance the ‘Cupid’s bow’ (the curve of the lip between nasolabial folds), strengthen the vermillion border (the border around the lips), and soften vertical lip lines on the upper lip. Treating them with dermal lip fillers can also provide them with essential hydration, as well as increasing their volume and enhancing definition.
About the treatment process
The dermal cheek fillers and lip enhancement process involves injecting a stabilised hyaluronic acid based gel, a natural skin component that provides the area being treated with volume and hydration. After the injection, the gel binds with the water in your skin and gives natural volume to smooth wrinkles. The gel also blends with adjoining tissues and allows other nutritive elements, like oxygen, glucose and hormones, to pass between fragments of the gel. The result is instantly fuller, revitalised and plumper skin.
Treatment will provide immediate effect after a single session. The treated area should be gently massaged after injections. This helps the gel to seamlessly blend into the surrounding tissue. One session takes about thirty minutes and the results are immediate. Maintenance treatments are required every six to twenty-four months.
It is normal to experience slight redness and swelling near the injection site. There may also be some other minor side effects, such as slight pain or tenderness and some itching in that same area. The skin returns to normal up to a week for lip treatments.
